Privacy Protocol

> STATUS: NO_DATA_COLLECTION_VERIFIED // 3/11/2026

HashGuard operates on a zero-trust model. The best way to secure your data is to never collect it in the first place.

1.0 Air-Gapped Architecture

HashGuard does not ask for or use internet permissions. The cryptographic operations occur entirely within the silicon of your device. It is mathematically impossible for us to exfiltrate your ciphers, passkeys, or plain-text messages.

2.0 Local State Management

If you choose to save your encoded messages in the application's history, they are saved locally to your device's secured storage area. HashGuard does not sync to the cloud. Wiping the application data from your OS settings permanently destroys this history.

3.0 Telemetry and Analytics

[DENIED]. We do not embed analytics SDKs or crash reporters. If the app crashes, it crashes silently. We prioritize your operational security over our debugging convenience.

4.0 Amendments

If this privacy protocol changes in future versions (e.g., if we release an open-source syncing server), an explicit prompt and opt-in will be required. Until then, the system remains closed.
