By interacting with the HashGuard binary applications, you accept these terms. Cryptography is a complex field, and the app is provided as a utility, not a guarantee of absolute invulnerability against state-level actors or rubber-hose cryptanalysis.

2.0 Proper Usage

You agree to use the cryptographic tools provided by HashGuard in accordance with your local and international laws. The developers of HashGuard assume no responsibility for illicit activities masked using this software.

3.0 Liability Shield (No Warranty)

The software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind. If you forget your encryption key, your data is mathematically gone. The developers will not be liable for data loss, lost profits, or any secondary damages resulting from bugs or user error.

4.0 Source Integrity

Reverse engineering for personal audit or academic cryptanalysis is permitted and encouraged. Distributing modified, malicious versions of the HashGuard binary mimicking the official release is strictly prohibited.
